Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in High Wycombe to deliver letters and parcels. You will work a rotating shift, including weekends, with a daily driving route and outdoor delivery across the local area.

The role requires a full manual UK driving licence, the ability to pass a driving assessment, and fitness to walk long distances while lifting mailbags. You will be part of a busy team delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Valid full manual UK driving licence (up to 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit to walk long distances and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated and well organised with resilience.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Work outdoors in all weathers.
