Royal Mail Bridlington Delivery Office is hiring a Postie for a fixed-term 6-month contract. The role offers £13.68 per hour (paid monthly) with overtime and 30 hours per week across shifts, including weekends. You’ll sort and deliver letters and parcels, walking up to long distances, in all weathers, while building customer relationships.

You must hold a full manual UK driving licence, be willing to drive a Royal Mail van, and pass a driving assessment. Training and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required (max 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances in all weathers.
• Reliable and self-motivated with good organisation.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers in Bridlington.
