Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting for Royal Mail as flexible (temporary) postal collections drivers in your local area. You will collect mail and parcels, walk and drive as required, and be the friendly face of Royal Mail in the community.

The role offers varied shifts, a demanding daily pace, and pay rates from £16.24 to £19.00 per hour, with a full manual licence up to 6 points. Applicants should be prepared for outdoor work and physical activity throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Full, manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a bag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• As a Collections Driver, you’ll collect mail and parcels from designated locations, ensuring timely and secure handling of all items.
• Whether on foot or behind the wheel, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the country connected.
• Some roles involve driving, and you will also be on foot within the community to collect letters and parcels.
