Job summary

Royal Mail in Harrogate is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to sort letters and parcels, then deliver by van and on foot in the local area. You will work Sundays on a 30-hour, five-days-in-seven shift pattern, and participate in a rotating schedule across mornings and evenings.

Full UK driving licence (with up to 6 penalty points) and the ability to pass a driving assessment are required. The role is outdoors, physically demanding, and offers overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required (maximum 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, stairs/hills, and lifting 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated with good time management.
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment.
