The Recruitment Source for Clockwork Organisation has a vacancy for an HGV Class 2 Driver in Newtown and surrounding areas. The role combines driving and loading duties with daytime hours and overtime opportunities. Pay is £14.13 per hour with 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Applicants must hold a HGV Class 2 Licence, CPC Licence, and Digital Tachograph Card, plus a full UK licence with no more than 6 points. Reliable, punctual team players with good communication are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 Licence is essential.
• CPC Licence and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Reliable and punctual with ability to work in a team.
• Good communication with colleagues and the public.
• Willingness to work overtime or Saturdays after bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport the refuse team across Newtown and surrounding areas.
• Collect refuse, recycling, and waste from residential and commercial properties.
• Ensure safe and effective disposal of waste and recyclables.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks.
• Follow instructions from your supervisor to ensure work is completed on time.
