Job summary

University of Gloucestershire’s School of Creative Arts is seeking staff for 1.0 FTE, 2-year fixed term contracts. Teaching will be on campus with agile working arrangements; expect to teach across BA Acting and BA Musical Theatre, focusing on movement and voice, devising and improvisation, and research methods.

Roles involve recruitment, outreach and open days (4 days on campus weekly) with one day remote for admin and research tasks.

Qualifications

• We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with either an academic or drama/performance expertise in theatre to make a major contribution to teaching BA Acting and BA Musical Theatre modules.
• Our teaching is intensely practical with real-world partnerships, projects and productions.
• You will teach across BA Acting and BA Musical Theatre courses, engaging students in their evolving craft and the wider arts sector.
• We work flexibly and aim to emulate best practice with agile arrangements.
