Actemium Automation Hampshire, part of VINCI Energies, is seeking a Software Controls Systems Engineer to design, develop and commission PLC/SCADA/HMI solutions for manufacturing and regulated sectors.

You will join a supportive team focused on safety, wellbeing and professional growth within a global group known for innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming across Rockwell/AB, Mitsubishi, Schneider and Siemens.
• SCADA/HMI development experience using Aveva System Platform.
• Knowledge of Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet, Modbus and OPC/UA industrial networks.
• Strong problem-solving and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in project teams.
• Degree in Controls/Software/Electronics or similar preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver control system software from design to handover.
• Configure PLCs, SCADA and industrial networks.
• Conduct FAT/SAT testing, commissioning and site integration.
• Provide documentation, technical support and system updates.
• Collaborate with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and shared standards.

Actemium Automation Hampshire, part of VINCI Energies , is looking for a skilled Software Controls Systems Engineer to design, develop and commission PLC/SCADA/HMI solutions for clients in manufacturing, process and regulated sectors. You’ll join a supportive, wellbeing‑focused team within a global group known for safety, innovation and professional growth.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and deliver control system software from design to handover
• Configure PLCs, SCADA and industrial comms networks
• Conduct FAT/SAT testing, commissioning and site integration
• Provide documentation, technical support and system updates
• Collaborate with clients and multi‑disciplinary teams

What You’ll Bring
