This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).

This is a 12m FTC role.

Overall Purpose of the Role:
  • This role will support the delivery of audio‑visual material, scripts, metadata and artwork for acquired titles for subsequent exploitation on Disney+.
  • This will involve close communication with various distributors, especially where Disney is rejecting materials which do not match Disney specs.
Areas of Responsibility:
  • Track material delivery for acquired titles from 3rd party distributors into The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) London. This material will cover a mixture of the below in both English and other languages: Video, Audio, Audio Description, Subtitles, Descriptive Metadata, Artwork.
  • Handle QC rejections and remediation process directly with these distributors.
  • Update internal colleagues with regular status reports on the progress of deliveries as well as flagging up any issues or blockers in a timely manner.
  • Track metrics for the on‑time deliveries and right‑the‑first‑time deliveries.
  • Work effectively with departmental colleagues and cross‑functionally with other members of EMEA Content Operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties.
Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
Required:
  • This is primarily an operational role but the candidate will be expected to understand technical specs across different types of media.
  • Extensive experience with applications such as Microsoft Office, Google sheets, Smartsheet.
  • Experience in asset management databases.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience essential.
Desirable:
  • Understanding of localization and mastering processes.
  • Experience of file‑based and HD technology, new media and electronic file delivery.
  • Experience with different sound and video formats/components.
  • Understanding of QC processes for Audio Visual files.
