Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an Acoustics Consultant to join its UK Noise & Vibration team. You will deliver noise and vibration assessments for diverse projects, combining field surveys, technical analyses and reports.

This role sits within Ramboll's Environment & Health division, collaborating with experienced acousticians and multidisciplinary colleagues across the UK. You will undertake surveys on active construction sites, support major infrastructure projects in rail and energy sectors, and help

Qualifications

• Acoustics degree or IOA diploma (or equivalent).
• Understanding of environmental noise and vibration in transport and construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong work ethic; organised, flexible and motivated; able to plan, coordinate and monitor own work.

Responsibilities

• Undertake noise and vibration surveys.
• Carry out noise and vibration calculations, assessments and reports.
• Support preparation of proposals for new work.
• Work on noise assessments for planning, construction monitoring and mitigation, EIA, and building acoustics.
• Contribute to projects across sectors such as rail, residential, data centres and energy.
