Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an Acoustic Consultant to join our environmental consultancy team in the UK. You will conduct environmental noise assessments for residential and commercial projects and prepare detailed planning reports to support submissions and appeals.

With 2-4 years experience, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality environmental assessments, analyse noise monitoring data, and stay updated on standards and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • IOA membership or accreditation required or preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in environmental noise consultancy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in noise modeling software and relevant tools.
