Job summary

St Peter's VC Academy in Scarborough is seeking an Achievement Support Assistant to work as part of the teaching team, supporting learning with a particular focus on vulnerable pupils including those with SEND and EAL.

The role is 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus 5 additional days. You will work across the school, providing social, emotional and physical development support, supervising pupils at different times of the day, and helping to create inclusive learning experiences.

Job description

The Directors of St Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Academy Trust are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring, and highly motivated Achievement Support Assistant to work as part of the team at St Peter's VC Academy, supporting teaching and learning with a particular focus on supporting vulnerable pupils including those with SEND and EAL.

32.5 hours per week - term time only -plus 5 additional days

The successful candidate will work across the school, giving appropriate support for pupils of all abilities, some of whom have SEND. You will support the children’s social, emotional and physical development, designing provision and experiences to enhance pupils learning and provide supervision and care of children at various times of the day.
