Role: Accuracy Checking Technician

Location: Remote

Salary: £13.50 to £14.42 per hour plus extensive benefits

Contract type: Permanent

Employment type: Full time

Working hours: 40 hours per week, scheduled between Monday to Friday 8.30am -5.30pm

As an accredited Accuracy Checking Technician supporting our Digital Health Services division, you will play an essential role in providing effective administrative support for completing DMS (Discharge Medication Service) stage 2 and 3 for our patients. You’ll work closely with pharmacy teams and cross-functional departments to uphold high quality standards, support day-to-day clinical operations, and contribute to a workplace culture that is inclusive, collaborative, and purpose-driven.

What you’ll be doing?
  • Work within our Digital Health Services Team to deliver stages 2 and 3 of DMS Discharge Medication Service).
  • Engage with patients daily by phone, ensuring a supportive and patient‑centered approach.
  • Provide administrative support for NMS (New Medicine Service), DMS, PCS (Pharmacy Contraceptive Service), and other business needs.
  • Uphold all legal, ethical, professional, and company standards.
  • Operate effectively in a busy environment while maintaining accuracy and focus.
  • Contribute to achieving individual and team goals aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with key teams across the business, including customer service, purchasing, operations, and pharmacists.
  • Help foster a workplace culture that is welcoming, inclusive, and positive.
Who are we looking for?
  • An accredited Accuracy Checking Technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Someone with strong communication skills (verbal and written), who is numerate, IT literate, and confident using systems such as Excel.
  • A professional with experience in pharmacy (community or online), able to work accurately in a busy environment and meet deadlines while following company and ethical standards.
  • A team player who can also work independently, showing initiative, proactivity, and drive in their role.
  • An individual who demonstrates patient‑focused customer service, ensuring care and accuracy in everything they do, with knowledge of DMS stages 2 and 3 desirable.
  • Someone who can prioritise and organise workload effectively, maintaining a high level of accuracy and contributing to team and business goals.
