Rowlands Pharmacy (Phoenix Medical Supplies) is seeking an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician for their Gatley branch. The position offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am–5:30pm, with a pay rate of £16.11 per hour.

You will dispense and check medicines, maintain accurate records, manage stock, and provide excellent patient care. Applicants must be GPhC registered, hold an NVQ3, and have completed the Final Accuracy Checking Qualification.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• NVQ3 and completed the accuracy checking course in Pharmacy Services.
• Final Accuracy Checking Qualification required for consideration.

Responsabilités

• Participating in the entire dispensing process.
• Checking and preparing medication orders.
• Ensuring accuracy and safety in handling and distributing pharmaceuticals.
• Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and healthcare professionals.
• Delivering courteous and effective customer service at all times.
• Complete and maintain accurate administrative records.
• Manage the inventory of pharmaceutical stock and equipment.
• Receive, store and issue medications and other supplies.
• Monitor expiration dates and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Provide healthcare advice and signposting customers to appropriate resources when necessary.
