LRQA in Edinburgh is seeking an Accreditation Manager for the ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council) programme. The role focuses on maintaining and developing the ASC accreditation framework, ensuring compliance and driving continual improvement across global seafood certification activities.

You will act as the focal point for ASC accreditation matters, collaborating with operational, technical, and assurance teams to ensure audits meet high standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in aquaculture or seafood certification or assurance programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of ASC standards and accreditation processes.
  • Experience with certification bodies or technical assurance functions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain ASC accreditation requirements and approvals.
  • Liaise with accreditation bodies and scheme owners.
  • Support auditor competence, witness audits, and technical reviews.
  • Lead accreditation assessments and coordinate corrective actions.

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland (Hybrid)

LRQA is seeking an experienced Accreditation Manager to join our growing Seafood team in Edinburgh. This is a key role responsible for maintaining and developing our ASC accreditation programme, ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements, supporting technical governance, and driving continual improvement across global seafood certification activities.

You will act as the focal point for ASC accreditation matters, working closely with operational, technical, and assurance teams to ensure audits are delivered to the highest standards and in line with accreditation and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain ASC accreditation requirements and approvals.
  • Liaise with accreditation bodies and scheme owners.
