We re working with a well-established firm in the South East that is looking for a capable Accounting Technician to join their growing team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you ll work with a diverse client base across accounting, tax, and VAT, while also developing your mentoring and technical skills.

Role responsibilities:
  • Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts and tax returns for individuals and businesses
  • Assisting with VAT compliance and advising clients on relevant issues
  • Managing your own portfolio and building strong client relationships
  • Coaching and supporting junior team members
  • Developing your skills in cloud accounting platforms, including Xero
What we re looking for:
  • AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified
  • Strong experience in accounts preparation within practice
  • Solid understanding of UK tax compliance
  • Organised, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable using Excel, Word, and cloud-based tools
