NXTGEN are excited to be working with a well established and highly respected firm, known for delivering a personal, relationship led service to a diverse client base. This is a Senior Accounts Manager position offering real responsibility, autonomy and influence. As the Senior Accounts Manager you will head up a substantial client portfolio while working closely with partners to support client strategy, team development and the continued growth of the firm.

The Senior Accounts Manager will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, predominantly owner managed businesses, SMEs and corporate clients across a range of sectors. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing high quality accounting, tax and advisory services, while also supporting and mentoring the wider team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering accounting, tax and advisory services
  • Reviewing and finalising statutory accounts, management accounts and tax computations
  • Overseeing corporation tax, personal tax and VAT compliance
  • Leading client meetings and acting as a key point of contact for ongoing advice and support
  • Identifying opportunities to_Prvide additional services and add value to client relationships
  • Managing workflow across the team, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
  • Reviewing work prepared by managers and senior staff prior to partner sign off
  • Coaching, mentoring and supporting the development of the accounts team
  • Working closely with partners on business development and strategic initiatives

You will be ACA or ACCA qualified with significant experience working within an accountancy practice ideally at manager level. You will bring strong technical knowledge across general practice services, excellent communication skills and a proactive,concat client focused mindset.
