Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is representing a well-established accountancy practice in Cosham, Portsmouth, seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to lead client accounts and ensure accurate year-end reporting. You will support the preparation and review of year-end statements, including FRS105 and FRS102 S1a, and assist with indirect tax submissions in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

What will the Accounts Senior role involve?

Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Senior vacancy:

• Possesses experience within practice, with a strong accounting background
• Holds AAT Level 4 or higher qualification
• Demonstrates competence in indirect taxes and year-end accounts as specified
• Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills with a willingness to develop client-facing capabilities
• Shows a proactive approach to work, is highly trainable, and eager to contribute to a team environment
