Job Description

• Prepare statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and business plans for a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies/LLP's.
• Overseeing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
• Nurturing client relationships and offering tax and accounting advice supported by the Client Manager.
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
• Assist in implementing cloud-based software for clients and providing financial health checks for clients.
• Assisting on ad hoc projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Senior should have:

• A professional qualification (ACA, AAT, ACCA etc.) in Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience within a similar role in the accountancy sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial procedures.
• Excellent team leadership skills and a collaborative approach to work.
• Exceptional client management skills with a keen eye for new business opportunities.
• Experience of implementing and maintaining financial systems and procedures.
