Job summary

Michael Page Finance is seeking an Accounts Senior to join our professional services team in Dorking. The role focuses on accounting and finance with a strong emphasis on client relationships and accurate financial management.

The successful candidate will have ACA/ACCA qualification (or by experience), at least 3 years of accountancy practice experience, and solid IT skills, including cloud-based bookkeeping systems such as QuickBooks, Xero and Sage.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
• Minimum of 3 years accountancy practice experience.
• Strong IT skills and ability to work in a 'less paper' environment.
• Experience with cloud-based bookkeeping systems (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
• IRIS or Tax Calc experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts and tax returns.
• Supervise own portfolio of clients.
• Direct client contact is encouraged.
• Exposure to all aspects of client work.
• Work with a wide variety of clients to gain broad experience.
• Supervise workflow processes.
• Assist in training and supervising apprentices/trainees.
