Job summary

Rutherford Briant is recruiting an Accounts Senior to prepare statutory accounts across diverse client types and manage tax returns including VAT. You will develop strong client relationships and deliver high-quality service while upholding standards.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified (or currently studying towards qualification).
• Experience in an accountancy practice environment is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software, ideally including IRIS, Xero and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Senior, you will

• Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, charities, and limited companies
• Prepare corporation tax, partnership, and personal tax returns, along with VAT returns
• Build strong relationships with clients, responding to queries and providing a high level of service

Requirements:

As an Accounts Senior, you will need

• ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified (or currently studying towards qualification)
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting software, ideally including IRIS, Xero, and QuickBooks
