Job summary

TC Group, a Top 20 UK accountancy firm, seeks an Accounts Semi-Senior/Senior for its Stratford-upon-Avon team. You will manage a varied client portfolio, prepare accounts, tax and VAT returns, and deliver high-quality client service.

The role offers hybrid working, development support, and clear progression within a growing practice. Applicants should bring relevant experience and a proactive, client-centred mindset.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Accountancy Practice experience.
• Good accounting, VAT & tax knowledge, in particular corporation tax.
• Experience with Iris, Xero & Sage preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Show initiative, exercise judgement and take ownership of tasks from start to finish.
• Experience of working on a wide range of clients.
• Computer literate including good Excel experience.
• Either Training towards ACA/ACCA or qualified.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• A commitment to delivering excellent client service.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

As anAccounts Semi Senior/Senior,you will manage a varied portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and management accounts while delivering a high standard of client service. Working closely with colleagues across the practice, you'll build strong client relationships and support business growth, making this an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional looking to progress their career.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

• 1+ years of Accountancy Practice experience
• Good accounting, VAT & tax knowledge, in particular corporation tax.
