Job Summary

Kiwa UK is looking for an Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join our innovative Finance Team. Based in Aylesbury with hybrid working, you’ll support the AR team to ensure compliance across all accounts receivable activities, including accurate posting, VAT compliance, working capital management, and intercompany management.

About The Role
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire a high-performing AR Team, ensuring strong governance and excellent stakeholder service
  • Champion the development of digital capabilities and talent within the team
  • Act as an escalation point for any customer or team clarifications
  • Approve journals produced by the AR Team
  • Implement measurable AR targets to measure and enhance credit collection and monitor team performance
  • Collaborate with Business Unit Leaders and use data insights to drive clearance of legacy debt
  • Partner with the Kiwa Group transformation team to develop and implement a new Order to Cash/credit and collections module
  • Complete weekly accounts receivables reports
  • Reconcile accounts receivables balances at month end
  • Process F/X revaluations for both AR and Cash balances at month-end
  • Calculate bad debt provisions with Kiwa UK Management Accountants
  • Support monthly intercompany accounts receivables confirmations
  • Minimise unallocated cash balances and resolve entries
  • Support the delivery of internal and external audit documentation

  • Proven experience leading AR project teams in process reengineering, system implementations or upgrades
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Strong data literacy and an analytical mindset, with excellent Microsoft Suite skills, especially Excel
  • Problem-solving mindset, team-oriented, practical, reliable, and results-driven
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and influence colleagues
  • Innovative and solutions-focused
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles and AR/AP control environments
  • Experience in an international corporate environment beneficial
What can you expect from us in return?
  • £37,000 - £40,000 per annum
