Job summary

A leading provider in special education and care is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk. The successful candidate will manage the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring effective financial management and timely customer billing. This role offers a base salary between £25,000 – £28,000, along with an extensive benefits package including 7 weeks of holiday and professional development opportunities. Hybrid working is available after successful completion of probation.

Qualifications

  • Highly accurate with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in a previous sales ledger based role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, with Excel skills rated as intermediate or above.
  • Ability to extract and manipulate data for reporting purposes.
  • The ability to analyse and resolve aged debt queries and discrepancies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Group’s Accounts Receivable function.
  • Ensure finances are managed effectively and customers are billed correctly.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and ensure funds are received on time.
