Job summary

SGN, based in Glasgow, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to manage master data, credit and risk, billing, collections and reporting. You will support daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while maintaining strong relationships with partners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analysing AR ageing, executing collections, negotiating settlements and initiating legal action
• Maintaining customer, price, product and tax master data and workflows
• Investigating and resolving queries from customers and other stakeholders
• Processing sales ledger invoices and reconciling in a timely manner
• Processing bad debt
• Allocating, releasing, tracking, changing and cancelling orders
• Performing reconciliations and settlements
• Validating deductions, issuing credit memos, performing appeasements and developing action plans
• Generating and analysing financial reports
