Job summary

Almac Group in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, is seeking an Accounts Payable Team Leader to lead the AP function, manage a small team, and ensure accurate, timely processing of invoices and payments. You will build strong supplier relationships and drive process improvements within finance.

The role requires supervising experience, the ability to prioritise deadlines, and adaptability to new systems, with a focus on delivering high-quality reporting and controls.

The Role:

Almac Pharma Services are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Team Leader to take the lead in delivering an accurate, timely and well-controlled Accounts Payable service. You will manage and develop the Accounts Payable team, build effective relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders, oversee payment and invoice-processing controls, and ensure high-quality reporting. You will also drive continuous improvement and support Finance systems and period-end activities.

What you will need to be successful:

• Eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time, permanent employment in the UK.
• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) to include English and Maths and 2 A-Levels (or equivalent).
• Experience of supervising, coaching or coordinating an Accounts Payable Team.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise completing deadlines and coordinate high-volume transactional workloads.
• The ability to adapt to new systems and processes and contribute constructively to continuous improvement
