Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Officer to manage invoicing, payment tracking and account reconciliations. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely payment collections and supporting the finance team and Operations team in day-to-day accounting operations.

What will I do?
  • Chase and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments;
  • Liaise with clients’ accounts teams to resolve queries and confirm payment allocations;
  • Prepare and maintain regular debt reports for monitoring and management review;
  • Prepare invoice files and ensure all supporting documentation is accurate and complete;
  • Check and verify invoice files for accuracy prior to processing;
  • Perform account and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records;
  • Update bank statements and maintain clear, up-to-date transaction records;
  • Make adjustments to invoices, including purchase orders, credit notes, or corrections as required.
What do I have?
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience);
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software;
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines;
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK.
