A leading engineering company in Sheffield is looking for an Accounts Officer to manage financial operations, including bank accounts and cash management. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills and prior experience in a similar role. This full-time position offers flexibility in working hours and includes a comprehensive benefits package, including pension contributions and a bonus scheme.
This role is based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield. Our Finance department plays a crucial role in ensuring the organisation's financial health, operational efficiency and strategic growth. The role covers everything from day-to-day financial operations to long-term financial planning & analysis, including the delivery of our recapitalisation programme.
As an Accounts Officer you will manage the bank accounts within the group, maintain cash books, produce financial reports and undertake accounts receivable transactional duties.

All applicants must achieve at a minimum the Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, with applicants typically required to have 5‑10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
This is a full‑time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday. We offer flexibility in start and finish times between 06:15‑09:30 and 14:30‑18:00.
