Job description
  • Financial Management & Accounting: Prepare, examine, and analyze bills, invoices, vouchers, accounts receivable/payable, accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards and company procedures.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial statements, management information system (MIS) reports, and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint. Analyze budgets, compare actual costs against budgeted costs, and prepare periodic financial reports to support management decision-making.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Maintain and analyze budgets, monitor expenses, and provide detailed reports comparing budget versus actual performance. Advise management on resource utilization, income tax, VAT, and changes in financial regulations on a monthly basis.
  • Banking & Cash Flow Management: Perform daily banking activities, manage cash flow to ensure sufficient operational funds, and analyze bank statements for accuracy and discrepancies.
  • Company Secretarial & Correspondence: Handle company secretarial work and demonstrate strong command in commercial correspondence in both English and Bengali.
  • Payroll & Employee Support: Maintain payroll records, process related inquiries from employees, and ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
  • Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain records of company assets, manage depreciation calculations, and oversee the acquisition or disposal of assets.
  • Internal Controls & Compliance: Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other tasks assigned by department managers or supervisors.
