What skills and experience we're looking for

The Golden Thread Alliance is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and efficient Accounts Officer to join our central finance team who are based at Culverstone Green Primary School, Gravesend, DA13 ORF.

This is a job share position, working 18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. You will be required to work Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday each week.

The salary for this role is based on Kent Scheme C £25,252 full time equivalent, which equates to £12,626 actual pro rata salary.

Although the central team hub is based at Culverstone Green Primary School, we can offer hybrid working once you are fully trained.

Ideal candidate
  • Previous experience of a similar role – experience in education sector or schools is also desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in an organised and methodical manner
  • Take personal responsibility for organising day to day workload
  • Work effectively and supportively as a member of the central team
  • Use own initiative to solve problems and respond proactively to unexpected situations
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people; willing to undergo Enhanced DBS Disclosure
