Job Overview

Our client has a permanent vacancy for an Accounts Manager to provide a fully comprehensive financial support service, being responsible for control of all cost centres, evaluation of budget and operational assumptions and presentation of budgets and performance back to the senior management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the day‑to‑day financial operations of the company, such as payroll, invoicing and cash flow.
  • Recording and reconciling transactions such as accounts payable, receivable, cash receipts and credit card transactions.
  • Identifying risks to delivery, proposing solutions, and managing senior management expectations.
  • Monitoring cash flow, spotting trends and forecasting requirements.
  • Producing weekly management information and monthly finance packs such as P&L and balance sheet.
  • Developing budgets, forecasting and analysing variances, providing accurate information and costings.
  • Serving as the primary contact for internal staff on invoicing, bill payments and budgets.
  • Providing and interpreting financial information relative to separate projects.
  • Updating and monitoring holidays for all employees.
  • Evaluating ways to cut costs and presenting viable options to the MD.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and procedures.
  • Keeping up to date with accounting software and technological advances.
  • Liaising with auditors, suppliers, bankers and other contacts.
Requirements
