Job summary

MCS Group is partnering with an established Belfast Chartered Accountancy practice to recruit an Accounts Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. You will manage a client portfolio, oversee year-end accounts and tax computations, and support a growing team of accountants and bookkeepers.

Ideally ACA/ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience and a strong UK practice background. You will build relationships, meet deadlines, review VAT and management accounts, and spot opportunities to

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience.
• Management or supervisory experience within a Practice.
• Strong UK practice background.
• Good knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105.
• Confident managing clients and leading a team.
• Experience with Sage, Xero or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Managing a client portfolio and building strong relationships.
• Reviewing year end accounts and corporation tax computations.
• Supporting and developing a team of accountants and bookkeepers.
• Keeping on top of deadlines and statutory filings.
• Reviewing VAT returns and management accounts.
• Spotting opportunities to offer clients additional services.
