Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a bookkeeping or finance admin role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero is essential.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

  • Process and schedule payments to suppliers across various currencies.
  • Regular reconciliation of bank and payment accounts in Xero.
  • Assist with multi-currency transactions and correct exchange rates.
  • Maintain accurate financial records for internal reporting.
  • Liaise with external accountants for month-end close and tax filings.
  • Help refine finance processes for efficiency.
  • Ensure payroll runs accurately and on time.
  • Execute VAT returns in a timely manner.

Opportunity for an Accounts Executive

You'll play a pivotal role in our finance operations, handling day-to-day bookkeeping, supplier payments, reconciliations, payroll, VAT returns and more. As the Accounts Executive you'll work closely with our accountants to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across financial functions. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, international environment and enjoys working with systems and numbers.

The Job
  • Supplier Management: Process and schedule payments to suppliers across various currencies and regions.
  • Bank and Account Reconciliation: Regular reconciliation of bank, credit card, and payment accounts in Xero.
  • Currency Management: Assist with multi-currency transactions and ensure correct exchange rates and FX handling.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for internal reporting and compliance.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with our external accountants to support month-end close, tax filings, and other reporting needs.
  • Process Improvement: Help refine finance processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency or accuracy.
  • Payroll Management: Ensure payroll runs accurately and on time per month.
  • VAT Returns: Execute VAT returns in a timely manner.
Skills Required
