Location: Perth, Scotland

Salary: £28,000 £35,000 (DOE)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts and Business Advisory Associate for our clients office based in Perth.

Whether you’re part‑qualified or newly qualified (AAT / ACCA / ACA / CA / ICAS), this is a brilliant opportunity to grow with a leading SME accountancy and business advisory firm.

We’re looking for an Accounts & Business Advisory Associate to join a growing team in Perth. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across a wide variety of clients, enjoy full study support and be part of a business that genuinely values your development.

What you’ll be doing
  • Preparing annual statutory accounts and supporting clients with day‑to‑day accounting
  • Helping clients improve their financial processes and offering practical advice
  • Communicating with HMRC and handling VAT or payroll tasks where needed
  • Taking early ownership of parts of client portfolios with guidance from senior colleagues
  • Collaborating with supportive managers and mentors to build your technical and soft skills
  • Working towards chargeable time and utilisation goals while contributing to a positive, team‑driven culture
What we’re looking for
  • You’re studying towards (or have recently completed) AAT / ACCA / ACA / CA / ICAS
  • You have some experience and exposure within practice – maybe you’re ready for more responsibility
  • You have a genuine interest in helping businesses succeed and a proactive, can‑do attitude
  • You possess strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a desire to keep learning
