Temporary Accounts Assistant – 4 Weeks temporary Cover

Kettering office based

Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm, Friday 8:00am–1:00pm

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a short-term opportunity in a supportive and friendly office environment? Our client — a leading global manufacturer and distributor— is seeking a motivated individual to provide 4 weeks of temporary cover within their small busy accounts team.

The Role

As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping day-to-day finance operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger duties
  • Processing invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining filing systems and financial records
  • Answering incoming calls and taking messages
  • Providing general administrative support to a small, close-knit office team
About You

You’ll bring a positive attitude and a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance support role
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A professional and friendly telephone manner
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
