Puro Associates in Manchester is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our established team. The role offers progression opportunities and a supportive environment, with a salary up to £30,000.

You will support clients with accounting processes, manage your own client portfolio, and prepare accounts for sole traders, Ltd companies and partnerships. VAT and tax returns are also part of the remit.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part qualified is required.
• Strong commitment to delivering high quality service.
• Desire to develop and progress within the role.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients on accounting processes with tailored advice.
• Managing your own portfolio of clients.
• Preparing accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships.
• Handling VAT returns.
• Preparing and filing tax returns.
