Job summary

AJ Chambers is seeking an Accounts Assistant Manager for their central London practice, offering a varied portfolio across media, entertainment, charities, professional services and property.

The role involves supervising junior staff, finalising accounts to FRS 102/105, and ensuring timely delivery of accounts and tax returns, with training and development opportunities in a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally with at least 1 year post qualified
• At least 4 years’ experience working in a medium sized practice
• Experience using CCH, Xero, QuickBooks would be ideal

Responsibilities

• Review corporate accounts prepared by junior staff members
• Prepare and finalise accounts under both FRS 102 and 105
• Manage team workflow and ensure accounts and tax returns are prepared on time
• Handle day to day client queries
• Train junior team members
• Support Partners and Managers with day to day queries
