Responsibilities
  • As an Accounts Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality accounting services to a portfolio of healthcare clients. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing annual accounts for Doctors, Dentists and other healthcare professionals - full training will be provided for this specialism
  • Drafting tax computations for review by the tax team
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing exceptional client service
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members, assisting with their professional development
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends, applying this knowledge to enhance service delivery
  • Supporting the Managers with other ad-hoc work as required
Requirements
  • Previous experience in accounts preparation within an accountancy practice is essential
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, a general understanding of basic tax principles and experience with relevant software (Xero & QuickBooks)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional qualifications such as being ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Applicants who are QBE are welcome
