Job summary

Paul Card Recruitment is seeking an Accounts Assistant for a flexible, part-time position with an immediate-start from a temporary basis and a strong chance to go permanent for the right person.

The role covers day-to-day accounts, including ledgers, credit control, reconciliations, and inbox management, with a need for accuracy and good communication. Sage Intacct experience would be advantageous but isn’t essential.

Qualifications

• Experience within an accounts or finance team and across transactional finance.
• Organised, accurate and an excellent communicator with ability to manage workload and liaise with customers and suppliers.
• Sage Intacct experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain purchase and sales ledgers.
• Handle credit control and chase outstanding payments.
• Complete bank reconciliations.
• Manage the accounts inbox and respond to queries.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers.
• Keep financial records accurate and up to date.
