Autograph Recruitment is working with a business in Lydney to recruit anAccounts Assistant to support its day-to-day finance function.

This role is ideal for someone with accounts experience who takes pride in getting the detail right and enjoys being part of a supportive team.

You will process purchase and sales invoices, reconcile supplier statements, support payment runs and month-end tasks, and maintain accurate financial records with Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts or finance administration with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Excel and accounting software.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Experience with month-end tasks and reconciliations.

Responsabilités

• Processing purchase and sales invoices, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries.
• Supporting payment runs and bank reconciliations.
• Monitoring outstanding payments and assisting with credit control.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assisting with month-end tasks and general finance administration.
