Job summary

KPJ Group in Worsley is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. You will support a busy project accounting function, manage cash across multiple bank accounts and contribute to forecasting and month-end activities.

The role offers a salary between £32,000 and £35,000 per year, with Mon-Thu 7:30am–4pm and Fri 7:30am–12:30pm, plus 24 days holiday and a range of benefits.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full financial cycle of projects, including costing, reporting and closure.
• Managing cash across multiple bank accounts and reconciling balances.
• Preparing and analysing weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Supporting month-end close, including POC schedules and journal entries.
• Supporting budget and forecast phasing for revenue and Cost of Goods Sold.
• Assisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
• Preparing ONS submissions.
• Supporting colleagues with key finance tasks during periods of absence.
• Completing additional finance and administrative duties as required.
