Job summary

Huntress is recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a 12-month FTC that may go permanent. You will work in West Sussex, within a busy finance team, handling day-to-day accounts, supplier and customer queries, reconciliations, and credit control support.

The role offers exposure to UK and overseas currencies, with potential for a long-term career in the business. Training and development are provided to support progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts administration or similar role.
• Proficient in Excel and data entry with attention to detail.
• Experience handling multiple currencies and VAT is desirable.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase and sales invoices in UK and overseas currencies.
• Reconcile bank and company credit cards.
• Process expenses and supplier payments.
• Prepare remittances and handle supplier queries.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate customer and supplier records.
• Assist with invoicing and international payments.
• Support credit control activities and aging debt.
• Assist with VAT returns and month-end processes.
• Support wider finance team with reporting and forecasts.
