Screwfix Direct Ltd is looking for a Stock Accountant in Yeovil to safeguard stock through strong internal controls and ensure accurate valuations. You will manage month-end and BAU processes, delivering reliable stock reporting and insights.

You’ll work with commercial and operational teams across Head Office, Distribution Centres, and Stores to embed best practices, support audits and forecasting, and drive continuous improvements in stock management.

Reporting to the Stock Accountant, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding stock through strong internal controls while ensuring operational efficiency. You’ll manage month‑end and BAU processes, delivering accurate stock valuations and insightful reporting. Working closely with commercial and operational teams across Head Office, Distribution Centres, and Stores, you’ll help embed best practices in stock management. This role also supports group submissions, audits, and forecasting, while driving continuous improvements in systems and processes. Your work will strengthen collaboration and enhance the reputation of the Stock Team across the business.
