A prominent leasing company in Harrogate is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team. The role involves maintaining the purchase ledger and bank accounts, providing support to the Financial Controller, and requires a can-do attitude along with good Excel skills. Salary: £16,000-£18,666 pro rata (DOE)
Harrogate Leasing are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their small, friendly and fast‑paced team based in Harrogate.
This is a fantastic opportunity to provide accounting support to the Financial Controller by maintaining the purchase ledger and bank accounts on Sage within Harrogate Leasing, which is part of Lookers Motor Group.
Here at Harrogate Leasing, you will work closely with the Financial Controller on all aspects of the accounts, while receiving ongoing support to ensure you have the tools needed to succeed in your role.
This is a broad role covering Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Bank as well as various month‑end tasks. Tasks include but are not limited to:
We would also be keen to talk to current Accounts Assistants. There are lots of training opportunities available to accompany this role too. We are looking for an individual with a can‑do attitude and a willingness to learn. Great attention to detail would also be fantastic, as would experience in using Excel.
