Accounts Assistant | Onsite | Telford | £24,000 – £28,000 | Permanent | Immediate Start

The Role

As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a key part in the smooth running of the finance function. You’ll be involved in a wide range of tasks including invoice processing, payroll support, reporting, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping. Full training on internal processes and systems will be provided.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Processing supplier invoices and expenses
  • Creating and issuing sales invoices
  • Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Reviewing system entries to ensure accuracy
  • Supporting cashflow and basic financial reporting
  • Preparing simple analyses to support business decisions
  • Assisting with payroll processing
  • Helping the team meet weekly and monthly deadlines
What We're Looking For

You don’t need to tick every box if you have strong organisational skills, enjoy working with numbers, and have experience in finance, accounts or administrative roles with some exposure to bookkeeping or systems, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re ideally looking for someone who:
  • Has experience using accounting software
  • Understands basic finance processes (invoices, reconciliations, VAT, etc.)
  • Is confident using Excel for simple reporting and spreadsheets
