Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking an Accounts Assistant in St Helens to join the finance team at a reputable motor dealership. The role involves daily banking reconciliation, posting, and supporting the accounts function in a busy automotive environment.

You will work 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) with a salary of £25,000, and enjoy company benefits while developing your career within a forward-thinking dealership group in the North West.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts assistant or similar finance position.
• Familiar with financial reconciliation procedures.
• Kerridge knowledge is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily banking reconciliation and postings.
• Manage vehicle debtor controls and oversee sales commissions reconciliations.
• Process manufacturer invoice controls and postings.
• Perform general ledger and nominal reconciliations.
• Assist the accounts team with additional administrative tasks.

Our client is a well-established and reputable Main Dealer in St Helens, and they are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their accounting team.

Our client is a reputable motor retailing group with a history spanning over 35 years. The successful individual will support the finance team at our client's St Helens branch, contributing to the smooth operation of their accounts department.
