Job summary

Agility, a leisure business based in Blackpool, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join its busy finance team. This is a genuinely varied role that offers exposure across the full finance function, beyond routine transactional accounting.

You will manage the purchase ledger, process invoices, perform supplier reconciliations and complete bank reconciliations. You’ll support month‑end, assist with fleet costs, make payments and handle ad-hoc accounting projects to provide accurate financial

• Experience in an accounts environment.
• Hands-on, organised and commercially aware.
• Able to work across the finance function and be proactive.

Responsibilities

• Managing purchase ledger, including processing invoices and supplier reconciliations
• Completing bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
• Supporting the wider finance team with month-end accounting
• Assisting with fleet management, maintaining accurate records and costs
• Processing payments and supporting supplier queries
• Assisting with general finance administration and ad-hoc accounting projects
• Providing accurate financial information to help the business make informed decisions
