Overview

Our client is seeking a proactive Global Treasury Assistant to support their Treasury and Finance functions. This role offers hands‑on experience across projects, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Credit Control within a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning, executing, and reviewing treasury projects.
  • Manage small improvement initiatives and maintain project documentation.
  • Support testing, training, and process optimisation activities.
  • Support payment runs, remittances, and direct debit processes.
  • Monitor AR, Remittance, and Credit Control inboxes and resolve customer queries.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices and assist with debt collection and write‑offs.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Handle card payments, refunds, DD applications/cancellations, and customer calls.
  • Support the implementation of credit control policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
  • Ensure accurate completion of AP, AR, and credit control tasks.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and data integrity.
  • Contribute to process improvements across treasury and finance.
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Treasury teams.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in finance, AR, or account administration is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Proficient in Excel; familiarity with ERP/financial systems preferred.

Working Relationships

Reports to: Global Treasury Manager.

Internal: Treasury, Finance, Sales, Operations, HR.

External: Customers, banks, payment service providers, suppliers.
