Accounts Assistant – Temporary Role
£15 per hour – Potential to go Permanent
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
First Recruitment Services are proud to be working on behalf of our client, a recognised leader in their field, to recruit an Accounts Assistant for a temporary assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately process a high volume of supplier invoices in a timely manner
• Match purchase orders with invoices and investigate any discrepancies
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries efficiently
• Maintain and update the purchase ledger with accurate financial records
• Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations
• Provide support to the wider finance team as required
Candidate Requirements:
• Previous experience in a purchase ledger or similar finance/account’s role is highly desirable
• Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
