Job summary

Autograph Specialist Recruitment Limited is recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a Hereford-based consultancy. You will support the Client Manager and the team in delivering accountancy services to a diverse range of SME clients across sectors.

The ideal candidate is AAT qualified with 2–3 years’ experience, proficient in Xero, and possesses strong mathematical and administrative abilities plus excellent communication skills. Opportunities for progression are available.

We are delighted to be working with this small multi-disciplined consultancy business based in Hereford, assisting in their search for a driven Accounts Assistant to join their expanding team. The company aim to help SME businesses grow by providing proactive and cost-effective advice.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to develop and progress their career further in a dynamic team.

You will be supporting the Client Manager and the rest of the team in their provision of accountancy based services to a wide variety of businesses across different sectors.

The ideal candidate

• AAT Qualified
• 2-3 years' experience in an accounting practice
• Interact well with clients and other staff members
• Strong mathematical and administrative skills
• The successful candidate should be ambitious and progression is available for the right person.
• Good communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
• Ideally have experience of working with Xero Accounting Software
