  • Driving licence and own transport required due to location.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales and payments reconciliations using Sage 50.
  • Perform credit control activities.
  • Set up new clients on Sage.
  • Raise credit notes/refunds.
  • Manage purchase ledger and input supplier invoices in multiple currencies.
  • Execute banking tasks.

Role: Accounts Assistant - Part time!

Location: Huntingdon

Hours: Part time 16 - 20 hrs per week

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 pro rata

We're looking for a highly organised Accounts Assistant to join a small business in Huntingdon on a part time basis, taking on a wide range of responsibilities. This is a hands‑on role where accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to meet accounting deadlines are essential.

What will you be doing in the accounts assistant role?
  • Sales and payments reconciliations using Sage 50
  • Credit control
  • Setting up new clients on Sage
  • Raising credit notes/refunds
  • Purchase ledger – Inputting Supplier invoices – Sterling and US Dollar
  • Banking
Experience / qualifications required
  • Previous experience in an accounts role
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to self‑check work
  • Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
